About Us
Our Story
Morecambe Bay Watch Co. is more than a watch brand—it’s the result of a friendship that’s lasted since 1998.
Adam & Dan first met at school in the North West of England. Like many childhood friends, life eventually took us in different directions as careers, families and everyday life took over. Now, nearly 40 years old, we’ve come full circle.
Everything changed when we lost one of our closest childhood friends, Sam, to depression.
Sam’s family organised SamFest, a celebration of his life that brought our old friendship group back together. It was there that Adam & Dan reconnected, rebuilding a friendship that had quietly faded over the years.
As we spent more time together, we realised we still shared the same passions—rugby league, a good pint of Guinness, and an ever-growing appreciation for watches.
Then one day, Adam simply said (slightly tongue in cheek):
“Mate… I’m going to make a watch…”
What started as a passing comment quickly became a shared ambition.
With full-time jobs, young families and plenty of late nights after work, we immersed ourselves in the world of watchmaking. We learned everything we could, refined every detail, built prototypes, made mistakes, improved them, and slowly turned an idea into reality.
Today, every Morecambe Bay Watch Co. watch is built with the same passion that started this journey. We believe in honest design, quality materials and creating watches that people will enjoy wearing for years to come.
Every watch we create represents not only our love of watchmaking, but also the friendship that inspired it.
